It has been over 13 years since BKB & Company first opened its doors in that tiny 900 square foot space on North 21st Street in 1998. Over the years there have been many changes: expansions, moves, going from three to two partners, and now, we have decided to make another change and we wanted
you to be the first to know:

BKB & Company will not be renewing its lease with University of Washington Tacoma and we will be closing our gallery forever on Dec. 15th, 2011. We will both retire. Corky is anxious to spend more time painting and enjoying her four lovely grandchildren and Victoria is excited to begin a new life seeking adventure in the deserts of the great Southwest. The past few years at BKB & Company have been very challenging in this tough economy and with slow sales and little confidence of improvement in the near future, we think we have made a wise decision. Our liquidation plans are to begin a 40% markdown on all wholesale items Nov. 1st -Dec.15th. Thank you to our customers and thank you, Tacoma, for your ongoing support and love. We will miss you!
